Child safeguarding concern. If I hear about current or past child abuse, or if I identify any concern about a child or children may be at risk of significant harm, I will need to discuss this with other professionals such as my supervisor and social services.
- Serious concerns of your safety and of others:
If I acknowledge that there is a danger of serious harm to yourself and to another, I will seek advice from other professionals including my supervisor and your GP.
I will usually seek to discuss such matters with you first, however depending on the timing and seriousness of the danger I might have to discuss this with other professionals without your consent.
